So, basically there are two ways to update this application in the first method we can directly download an update from Amazon Store.

Directly Update from App Store

Step-by-step guide to watching Plex on Amazon Fire devices
First, make sure you've set up your Amazon Fire device. If you've just bought one and still don't know how to use it, follow our guide on how to set up and use your Amazon streaming device. Then follow the steps below to get the Amazon Plex app on your Fire TV device and start watching videos:
Step 1: Sign up for Plex
Before you can start streaming Plex on Fire Stick or any other Fire TV device, make sure you have an account with the service. You'll need to complete this process through the website first. So go to Plex.tv and click on 'Sign Up.'
This will take you through the process of creating a free Plex account, and you won't need to enter your credit card information to sign up. Just provide your email address and create a password to complete the process. You can also sign up using your Apple, Facebook or Google account.

On the top left-hand corner of the screen, you'll find the search icon. Click on this and type in 'Plex' to start searching for the app. You'll then see the Plex Amazon Fire app icon in the 'Apps & Games' section. Click on this to open up the app page. Then select 'Get' to begin the download process and install the Amazon Plex app on your Fire TV device.
Step 4: Open the Plex app and sign in
Once the app finishes installing, you'll get the option to 'Open' it. Select this option to launch Plex on Fire Stick or any other Fire TV device. You'll see a screen prompting you to sign up for a Plex account through the website or sign in if you already have one. Click on 'Sign In.'
Step 5: Activate your Fire TV device for Plex access
After signing in, you'll see a code and a link on your screen. You'll have to visit the link — plex.tv/link — using your web browser via your computer or your phone. Note that you'll need to be signed in to your Plex account on this device for the linking to work. Then enter the code you see on your screen and click on 'Link' to activate Plex on your Amazon Fire TV device. After this, you'll see a green checkmark confirming the activation.
Step 6: Start streaming Plex
Then go back to the Plex app on your Fire TV device to start streaming. On the home screen, you'll see some of the free content neatly sorted into categories such as movies, news, podcasts, TV shows and web shows. Under each category, you'll also see some recommended shows and titles. Choose something that you want to watch and start streaming Plex on your Amazon Fire TV device.
